The successful candidate will build long-term relationships with legal stakeholders across the UK, promoting products and vision through various routes.

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in promoting our client's products and vision to employers, building enduring relationships with legal stakeholders across the UK. You will lead a dedicated team, driving revenue growth and expanding market share. Your role will involve developing strategic plans, managing sales pipelines, tracking performance against targets, and nurturing key customer accounts. You will also represent the organisation at various external events, acting as a subject matter expert.

  • Develop targeted strategic plans and processes to drive organisation sales
  • Manage the sales pipeline and identify potential opportunities & partnerships
  • Utilise CRM Sales dashboard to track and report on sales performance against targets
  • Manage the Business Development and Customer Sales Teams to ensure delivery of sales targets and KPIs
  • Develop strong relationships with Key Customer Accounts, identifying their evolving needs and providing solutions
  • Represent the organisation at a range of external meetings and events

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in winning business and increasing account value through effective management of B2B/B2C sales. Ideally you should have experience within the Legal Services Sector and demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Your consultative sales experience will enable you to deliver an outcomes-focused approach. A strong technical understanding with working knowledge of Sales tools is essential.

  • Proven track record of winning business and increasing account value through management of B2B/B2C sales
  • Established network within the Legal Services Sector / legal sales experience or a keen appetite to learn.
  • Experience of Strategic and Key Account Customer relationship management in a business development or sales leadership role
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong technical understanding with working knowledge of Sales tools
  • Consultative sales experience with an outcomes-focused approach
