Oracle System Tester – The Role:
The local authority is looking for a detail-oriented Oracle System Tester to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of their Oracle-based applications. We are seeking an individual with skills and experience in Oracle SQL and System Testing to work closely with Oracle System Developers throughout the full project lifecycle.
Oracle System Tester – Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle applications
Perform business-critical data initialisation system testing, system-to-system data integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing
Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and design effective test strategies
Ensure compliance with local authority standards and regulations in all testing activities
Provide detailed test reports and communicate findings to the project team
Participate in the review and improvement of testing processes and methodologies
Oracle System Tester – You:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Proven experience as an Oracle System Tester or in a similar role
Strong understanding of Oracle databases and applications
Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment
