Teaching Assistant

Day Rate: £85 - £100
Contract: Full-time (Term Time Only)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide full-time classroom support in a Year 4 class at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' primary school. This role involves general assistance and delivering interventions to small groups, as well as supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored learning activities and provide support to individuals and small groups in Year 4.
- Engage, motivate, and encourage learners to achieve their potential.
- Support children with SEN, ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum.
- Assist the Class Teacher in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks, including resource preparation.
Ideal Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school, ideally within Key Stage Two (specifically Year 4).
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification, or relevant degree.
- Experience or willingness to work with children with SEN.
- A good team player who can collaborate with other staff and work under the direction of the Class Teacher.
- A positive, caring, and can-do approach.
