Established 35 years ago, we are a cutting edge technical product used by public sector customers to effectively and more efficiently carry out, record and optimise site inspections. Since then the company's software has developed into a mobile and desktop application used by many large council institutions across the UK.

About th Job:

You will join this successful software house that provides web and mobile asset management, task workflow and inspection solutions, as a Sales & Account Manager responsible for managing customer accounts in South of England and Northern Ireland too.

The role is mainly office based from the Leamington Spa office however you will be expected to visit customers on site occasionally and have a company car allowance or travel expenses to cover this.

You will work closely with the in-house development team, alongside the business to ensure intelligent solutions are delivered effectively. In addition, the Sales and Account Manager will take responsibility for aiding the growth of the company. You will be the vital link between the business and its users, providing a passionate, energetic and enthusiastic account management, sales and customer training.

As a Sales and Account Manager your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and building client relationships via Account Management programme
  • Supplying training to users to improve product usage and understanding
  • Negotiating with customers to renew their licences
  • Identifying and upselling areas for further product use
  • Identifying prospects, arranging demos and following up on leads
  • Answering customer enquiries
  • Providing quotes and negotiating terms to generate sales
  • Delivering onsite/online product training sessions to improve product usage and understanding

Candidate Requirements:

  • An interest in software products and be interested to learn how this product works and showcase to both new and existing customers.
  • The role comes with a level of autonomy so suits someone who can be responsible with their time management and not looking to be micromanaged.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Prior experience working for a software company or in a client facing / account management role is a bonus but not pre-requisite.
  • A drivers licence.
