This temporary role is available for immediate start, perfect for individuals who are ready to hit the ground running in a dynamic driving position.
Role Summary: As an HGV2 Night Driver, you will be responsible for making timely deliveries to stores across the region. You won't be doing it alone; you'll have the assistance of a driver's mate to ensure smooth operations throughout your shift.
Key Details:
- Location: Hemel Hempstead
- Hours of Work: Starting at 18:00 each evening until finish, typically lasting an 8 or 9-hour shift.
- Salary: £17 per hour (Paye)
- Contract Type: Temporary, starting immediately
Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of an HGV2 lorry during night shifts.
- Delivery of goods to various store locations.
- Work closely with a driver's mate to load, unload, and ensure the correct delivery of items.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with all transportation laws and regulations.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and that any maintenance issues are reported promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV2 driving license.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to schedules.
