We are looking for a dedicated Maths Tutor to work with students on a Health and Beauty course who are preparing for their GCSE Maths exams. This part-time position is ideal for someone who thrives on helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Location: Leeds
Position: Maths Tutor (Secondary Setting)
Start Date: September (Week commencing 2nd or 9th)
Hours: Monday & Tuesday, 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Duration: Short Term (2 months)
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Maths.
- Experience tutoring or teaching Maths at the secondary level, ideally with GCSE students.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging approach to teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused and engaging Maths tutoring sessions to small groups of 16-19 year-old's.
- Tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of students, ensuring they grasp key mathematical concepts.
- Track student progress and adapt teaching methods to support ongoing improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the college staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
