A well regarded Burgess hill based employer is looking to recruit a full time permanent Finance Manager.
Description
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the invoice finance facility, including monitoring receivables, reconciling accounts.
- Develop strategies to optimise cash flow, considering the utilisation of the invoice finance facility alongside currency risk management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Collaborate with relevant departments to create annual budgets and forecasts aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Assess financial risks, including currency fluctuations and credit risks associated with the invoice finance facility.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Contribute to the development of financial strategies to support business growth, including expansion plans and investment opportunities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring their continued development and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to streamline financial processes and support cross-functional initiatives.
