A well regarded Burgess hill based employer is looking to recruit a full time permanent Finance Manager.

Description

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the invoice finance facility, including monitoring receivables, reconciling accounts.
  • Develop strategies to optimise cash flow, considering the utilisation of the invoice finance facility alongside currency risk management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to create annual budgets and forecasts aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Assess financial risks, including currency fluctuations and credit risks associated with the invoice finance facility.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of financial strategies to support business growth, including expansion plans and investment opportunities.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring their continued development and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to streamline financial processes and support cross-functional initiatives.
