**About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Technician to join a dynamic and supportive team in Andover. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term career potential in a well-established business. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, from goods-in to goods-out, supporting both internal and external customers.
**Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation
- Operate forklift trucks (counterbalance & reach) safely and efficiently
- Manage stock locations and record movements using a computerised system
- Pick and pack orders to meet customer specifications and legal requirements
- Handle raw materials and finished goods in line with hygiene and safety standards
- Complete dispatch documentation (invoices, packing lists, DG notes, etc.)
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and internal departments
**What We're Looking For
- Must be forklift trained (counterbalance & reach licence required)
- Previous warehouse experience (ideally in food or pharmaceutical sectors)
- Basic food hygiene knowledge
- Familiarity with stock management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Awareness of ADR, IATA, and COMAH regulations is a plus (training can be provided)
