Audit and Accounts Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Split of work include 70% audit and 30% accounts
- Clients vary across sector including recruitment, charities, digital marketing, IT, engineering, consultancy, and travel with turnovers up to £30m
- Reporting in line with FRS102
- Lead, manage, develop and coach an effective audit team
- Monitor and control the audit team - review the teams work,
- Oversee and control completion of audit assignments including assessing controls, systems and planning
- Manage client relationships and identify opportunities; think strategically by understanding the client's needs, their business and key risks
- Manage team and individual budgets and performance objectives
- Business development - identify and win new clients
Audit and Accounts Supervisor Requirements:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA with proven external audit experience
- Experience of leading and managing an audit team
- Track record in business development, contributing to proposal delivery
- Experience working with software such as Caseware, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, Alphatax and CCH
- Working knowledge of HAT audit methodology
