Financial Accountant - £40-45k - Blackburn/Hybrid
Role Overview:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Support preparation of financial statements.
- Assist with various accounting and compliance tasks.
Duties:
- Prepare UK GAAP Statutory Financial Statements.
- Roll forward dormant companies.
- Convert management accounts from US GAAP to FRS 102.
- Develop SOX and compliance processes.
- Month-end reporting for UK and overseas entities.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare audit packs and analyze financial data.
- Assist with payroll and annual budget.
- Provide support for legal, pensions, R&D, and professional fees.
- Conduct UK tax computation and year-end Sage rollover.
- Review statutory accounts for small foreign entities.
- Prepare national statistics and VAT returns.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
Experience:
- ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Finalist.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and FRS 102.
- Multicurrency and intercompany experience.
