SAP HR Business Analyst SuccessFactors

A SAP HR Business Analyst (SuccessFactors HR Payroll) is required for our client based in Manchester for an initial 6 month contract (likelihood of extensions). This is a hybrid position with ideally around 2 days per week on site (some flexibility).

Our client is undergoing a large scale transformation project with the implementation of a new HR system. The chosen product is S4 Hana Public Cloud for Success Factors for Payroll and HR Functions. The project is now transitioning to the implementation stage.

SuccessFactors HR Payroll Business Analyst

The SAP HR BA is responsible for analysing, designing and facilitating the implementation of Success Factors HR/Payroll solutions to meet the HR and Payroll needs of the organisation .The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with SF-HR and Payroll modules as well as Local government specific business processes for HR and Payroll (e.g. Time Management, Public Sector Payroll). SAP HR(ECC) consultants keen to make a move to Success Factors will be considered as well .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Success Factors- HR and Payroll Implementation and Support

  • Support Fit to Standard (Fitness of SAP software to user processes and Requirements) workshops alongside the Internal teams and Implementation partner by documenting the key business processes, decisions and outcomes.

  • Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and SAP standard capabilities, reviewing solutions to bridge gaps.

  • Analyse current HR payroll processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation using SuccessFactors.

  • Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and work with IT and SAP SuccessFactors support to resolve any system-related problems.

  • Business Process Analysis:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the HR and payroll systems and recommend best practices.

  • Optimize payroll processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

  • Training ,Support and Documentation:

  • Provide training and support to HR and Payroll teams on the use of SuccessFactors modules.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for system-related inquiries and route them to Implementation partner

  • Data Management and Reporting:

  • Develop and generate reports specifications for SuccessFactors to support HR and payroll operations and decision-making.

  • Work closely with the data migration teams.

  • Experience:

  • Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors or SAP HR

  • Proven experience in HR and payroll business analysis, with a solid understanding of payroll processes and regulations .

  • Experience of Working with mixed onshore/offshore teams is desirable

  • Any experience of migration from SAP HR (ECC ) to Success factors will be a big plus.

  • Candidates with strong and demonstrable HR and Payroll operations will have advantage .

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements.

  • Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors and other related HRIS systems.

  • Expertise with at least one BPM software like Visio ,ARIS or SAP Signavio.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in SAP SuccessFactors Payroll or related modules.
  • Experience with Local Government payroll systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of HRIS integration with other systems (e.g., finance, time management).
  • CIPD or CIPP qualifications will be desirable ,but not mandatory
