Reed Finance is working with an innovative technology company based in North Bristol recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to lead their finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the finance team including accounting, billing and credit control.
- Ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual financial information is prepared and reviewed.
- Performing monthly analysis of business unit performance and trends, including operational metrics.
- Reviewing monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation.
- Business partnering with managers.
- Maintaining a culture of continuous improvement for finance systems, identifying and resolving issues and proposing change and improvements.
- Participating in business process troubleshooting and enhancement initiatives, reviewing financial processes and proposing and implementing improvements.
- Overseeing management of payroll and associated taxes.
- Assisting in the preparation of the year-end statements and liaising with external auditors,
- Providing support across the Group, as required, for a range of potential finance transformation projects potentially including the implementation of new systems for accounting, inventory management and billing
- Providing support for other Group finance teams as required
- Attending and contributing to monthly management meetings.
- Development of direct reports and the wider finance team.
