Your new role
An Interim Financial Controller role, reporting to the Head Of Finance and leading a team of staff. You will lead and manage the delivery of month-end and year-end, with a view to continually improving and developing both the team and processes. You will develop internal controls, ensure compliance with regulations and accounting guidelines. Deliver Monthly Management Accounts & Statutory Financial Statements. Plan and manage the audit. Deliver group and operational support on key requirements and initiatives. Provide leadership to the team in the entity structure. Enable and unlock process improvements across all transactions, payroll, IFRS16, sales & month end reporting. You will prepare the local statutory accounts for the region. You will also strive to improve management information across sales, revenue and other commercial analysis. You will lead and develop a team of qualified and part-qualified management accountants.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with experience at Financial Controller level in a large and complex organisation. You will be technically strong with extensive reporting experience. An accomplished manager, you will enjoy leading and developing a team. You will be highly IT literate, with experience of large ERP systems, ideally SAP. You will be immediately available and happy to commit to an initial contract of six months.
