Front End Developer (JavaScript React) *London onsite* to £75k
Are you a bright, ambitious Front End Developer with strong JavaScript and React skills?
You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a start-up Hedge Fund / FinTech founded by two hugely successful financial trading entrepreneurs.
As a Front End Developer you'll take ownership of building a new UI for the core research and trading platform, using JavaScript and React to create user interfaces for complex real-time document editing and sharing for use by the research team, in time adding a Generative AI layer to enable speedy summarisation and questioning as well as producing Data Visualisations from Market Data providers. Initially you'll focus on design, collaborating with the research team and traders to understand the workflow and then move on to development and build of these Greenfield systems.
Location / WFH:
You'll join a small, accomplished team based in Mayfair on a fulltime basis, Monday to Friday.
About you:
- You have strong JavaScript and React development skills
- You have an appreciation of good UI design with experience of using tools such as Figma
- You're keen to take ownership and enjoy the challenge of building things from scratch
- You have a good understanding of APIs and Data Visualisation
- You're collaborative with excellent and stakeholder management communication skills
- You are degree educated in Computer Science or other STEM discipline, having achieved a 2.1 or above
