Responsibilities:
- Familiarise yourself with the nursery's routine to ensure smooth daily operations
- Collaborate with colleagues to devise creative activities and efficiently tackle tasks
- Support key workers by observing EYFS curriculum-based activities to monitor progress
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents and carers to facilitate communication
- Assist with children's hygiene routines and mealtimes
- Proactively maintain a safe and enjoyable environment conducive to learning
- Safeguard children and promptly report any welfare concerns to management
- Assist in updating daily diary sheets detailing children's activities and meals
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or obtainable through Randstad)
- Previous experience working with babies and young children
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Proficiency in the EYFS framework and its implementation
- Genuine passion for enhancing children's development
- Eligibility to work in the UK
