Accounts Assistant | Nottinghamshire | up to £26k
We are currently recruiting for an
Accounts Assistant
to join a well established business close to Nottingham City Centre. This role is primarily sales ledger based, but will require cover in other areas of
finance
as and when required. This role is a hybrid function which offers excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
Processing
sales invoices
Updating and allocating
payments
onto the system
Reconciling the
bank accounts
on a daily basis
Chasing
outstanding debtors
, updating the system accordingly
Raising
credit notes
Dealing with any problems that are escalated
Processing expenses and claims
Covering the purchase ledger function during busy periods and holidays
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in a
finance
function with experience of
sales ledger/credit control
Team player
Good working knowledge of
excel
Good communication skills at all levels
Able to prioritise own work load
