Finance Business Partner

Resourcery Group are looking for a Finance Business Partner for a high growth, privately owned business with an office in central Liverpool. Our client is a market leader and UK turnover is approximately £150m. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fantastic business with an excellent reputation. Our client is known as an excellent place to work and the successful candidate will join a highly respected finance team in what is a value adding and highly visible role. The Finance Business Partner will work with the Head of Commercial Finance, Finance Director and senior stakeholders to drive profitability and business performance. We are looking for someone with first class communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the senior finance and operations Leadership group to drive financial performance and providing strategic support in the group.
  • Contribute to monthly dashboard meetings on financial performance
  • Report on financial performance and key issues in monthly Team Leader meetings.
  • Report on financial performance and focus on key issues/topics in team meetings
  • Provide insight and analysis into key aspects of performance, to highlight issues and drive improved behaviours.
  • Take responsibility for financial information and its output within the business group and out to the wider business.
  • Challenge performance, future plans and outlook.
  • Support on strategic growth opportunities

Key Requirements

  • Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant - CIMA, ACA or ACCA
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Team player - demonstrable partnering business leaders, not just an accountant; must be a key part of the team
  • Communicator / influencer - proven experience of working alongside / influencing key management
  • Profitability analysis to levels of client, product and business units
  • Confident and competent presentation and report writing skills

Our client has modern offices based in Liverpool but has also embraced hybrid working and the successful candidate will be able to work from home if required for 3 days per week.
