Monday - Thursday: 8.45AM - 5.30PM & Friday: 8.45AM - 5.00PM

Annual Salary of £30,000

People Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our client within the Industrial Safety Equipment industry, to drive new and existing business by generating and nurturing leads and existing accounts.

This is a fantastic opportunity that offers the flexibility of home working!
Working 8:45am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 5:00pm finish on Fridays

This position is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months covering for Maternity Leave.

Day to Day Duties

As a Business Development Executive your day to day duties will be:

  • Chasing down active live quotations through site visits and building relationships with all commercial teams and buying contacts.
  • Identifying key decision makers and targeting to gain enquiries and increase product listings with distributors.
  • Qualifying lead status and updating records in CRM.
  • Developing new sales opportunities with existing customers and new customers.
  • Managing new business and quotation pipeline

Essential Skills

As a Business Development Executive, it is essential that you:

  • Significant experience in customer account management ideally in a B2B environment
  • Technologically astute
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in continuous improvement project(s)
  • Problem solver with great initiative
  • Good head for numbers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Word

Desirable Experience

It would be Desirable as a Business Development Executive if you:

  • Knowledge of the industry advantageous
  • Knowledge of the reseller / dealer channel model is advantageous

What training is provided?

  • Company policy and procedure training to be provided to successful candidates
