My client, a media/marketing business based near OXFORD CIRCUS STATION is seeking an ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to join their growing business.
THE ROLE
- Preparation of management accounts
- Month end P/L Reconciliations (including accruals and deferred income)
- Month end P/L Reconciliations (including Cost of Sales, WIP etc )
- Review Sales reconciliations performed by Junior management accountant.
- Partnering with Sales/Site Development/ Operations department
- Reviewing Purchase invoice postings
- Reviewing Sales invoice postings
- Overview of business rates for all sites
- Maintaining WIP Schedule
- Assisting with yearly audit
- Supporting the FC with other ad hoc tasks
THE IDEAL PERSON
- Studying towards either AAT/CIMA/ACCA
- 1-2 years' experience in a junior management accountant/assistant accountant role
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication
- Proactive, well rounded, team oriented
- Experience with Sage 50 is highly desirable
- Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities?
- Able to deal with various stakeholders?
- Able to prioritise tasks?
