Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Daily Pay: £95-£105 per day
Hours of Work: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
LTF Recruitment is currently working with a supportive and inclusive OFSTED-rated Good school in Barking and Dagenham. Our partner school is looking for a passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. This long-term opportunity is available immediately with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supporting children in the EYFS with their learning and development
- Leading small group activities focused on early literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Assisting the class teacher with the daily setup and running of the classroom
- Monitoring and reporting on children's progress to the teacher and SENCO
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Providing support for children with additional learning needs or SEN
The school is looking for candidates who:
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Teaching Assistance
- Have at least one year of experience working with children, preferably in an EYFS setting
- Are enthusiastic, patient, and able to build positive relationships with children and staff
- Have strong communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting learning
- Are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for young learners
