What you'll do:
As a Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial stability within the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collating and releasing invoices, chasing outstanding arrears, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, identifying bad debts, organising meetings, calculating provisions, and liaising with various professionals. Your ability to manage time effectively, maintain attention to detail, and work under pressure will contribute significantly to your success in this role.
- Collation and release of invoices to tenants ensuring timely payments under lease terms
- Chasing outstanding arrears on tenant ledgers for prompt payments
- Reconciliation of tenant and customer accounts for accurate information
- Preparation of arrears reports (including commentary) for the Portfolio Team
- Identification of bad debts and obtaining necessary authority for ledger write-offs
- Organisation and attendance of portfolio arrears meetings with relevant managers
- Calculation of bad debt provisions for posting by financial accountants
- Liaison with insolvency professionals to ensure correct claims and billing

The ideal candidate for the Credit Controller position brings proven experience in credit control along with proficiency in Excel.
