Installation Technician
Four-day week: Monday to Thursday (7AM-5PM)
Hourly rate: £13.33
A antimicrobial recyclable curtain manufacturer are seeking a Installation Technician to join their team.
The installation Technician will install all the clients product range as required, where training has been provided, in accordance with documented company procedures and the company's Environmental and Quality Policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FITTER ROLE:
- To represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collate all paperwork in advance of the day's schedule and check that all goods and hardware required for the day are present.
- Collect and return all goods and return them to the specified bay where necessary.
- Ensure goods are transported to and from site locations securely and in pristine condition.
- Ensure Clients products are used correctly to maximize efficiency.
- Accurately interpret measuring and manufacturing illustrations for the purpose of measuring or installing products.
- Complete all installations in accordance with the clients installation and fitting procedures.
- Carry out surveys at customer locations.
- Ensure the timely completion of all documentation in accordance with the client Environmental & Quality Management System.
- Liaise with clients on site to determine their requirements when carrying out site surveys.
- Carry out any reasonable action on site as requested by the department head.
- Ensure that the Company Van and contents are kept in an organized and tidy fashion.
General -
- Follow all work instructions and company procedures.
- Always maintain safe and tidy working environment, to prevent risk of accidents.
- Daily removal of waste to ensure the environment is kept to an acceptable standard.
- Undertake any reasonable work activity that your line manager may request
