Due to growth, our Central Region, based at our head office in Heage, is looking for an additional Document Controller to support their Regional Document Controller. This is a full-time position, working 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties of the Role:

  • Liaise with project teams (both internal and external) re drawing system and requirements.
  • Assist the Regional Document Controller with management of drawing system (Viewpoint for Projects)
  • Work with Group Digital Construction Team to ensure compliance to BIM Management System
  • QA Checks, including chasing up amended drawings when rejections are made.
  • Invites to 4P – as well as introducing new users to the naming convention/ 4P layout and providing advice on using Viewpoint for Projects and resolving issues.
  • Carrying out audits on drawing numbers and viewpoint for projects status' including daily checks for S4s.
  • Assist with management of SCCAs and PEPs/BEPs
  • Cover for the Regional Document Controller and Document Controller and assist other admin staff when workloads require.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • People person, confident and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour
  • Can work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Microsoft Office skills essential, especially Word & Excel
  • Good time-keeping
  • Full driving licence
