Location:

Cambridge

Salary:

£32,500 - £43,000 per year, plus commission

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:30-18:00; one Saturday in four, 09:00-17:00 (with a day in lieu)

Overview:

My client, a leading estate agency in Cambridge, is seeking a proactive and ambitious Property Management Manager. This role involves leading a dedicated team, managing diverse challenges, and delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and guide a team of property managers.
  • Lead daily team meetings to drive performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate team members' performance through one-to-one meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Oversee property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
  • Negotiate tenancy renewals and manage deposit returns.
  • Resolve rental arrears and process eviction requests.
  • Maintain health and safety standards across all properties.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Manage complaints and oversee check-in/check-out procedures, including inventory reports.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential lettings as a Property Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of current residential lettings legislation.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain a positive team environment.
  • Effective communication skills and outstanding customer service.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle.

  • Basic salary ranging from £32,500 to £43,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Up to £7,200 in capped commission.
  • An additional uncapped commission target of £3,725.
