Financial Accountant Role
Location: North Leicester.
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join a dynamic Financial Reporting team at a prominent company in the East Midlands. This role is pivotal in ensuring technical accounting compliance and the preparation of detailed financial statements and external reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team on technical accounting compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed financial statements and external reports.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary up to £50k
- Bonus up to 10%

Work Environment:
- Hybrid role: 2 - 3 days on-site per week.
- Flexible start and finish times, with the option to finish earlier in the afternoon and log on in the evening if desired.

Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified, likely ACA / ACCA.
- Preferably with IFRS experience.
- Driven and motivated character.
- Suitable for someone moving from an accounting practice into industry.
Career Progression:
- Potential for progression within 18 - 24 months.
- Opportunities to move into controllership, finance business partnering, or FP&A.
- Involvement in M&A activities and property acquisitions.
Team and Tools:
- Utilises SAP.
- June Year-end.
Interview Process:
- First stage: Informal chat on Teams (30 minutes).
- Second stage: Face-to-face meeting at the head office in the East Midlands.
