Accounts / Bookkeeping Administration Assistant

Our client who are well thought of in the construction industry, is looking for an experienced book keeping candidate with general accounts knowledge with the capability to liaise with the company accountant as required.

You will have experience in using Xero as training cannot be provided in using the system – you must be able to hit the ground running.

Duties will include :

  • Check Statements and payments
  • Data entry of invoices onto the system
  • Reconciliation of accounts, statements and invoices
  • Contact with customers and potentially some credit control to make sure invoices is received and prompting of payment
  • Support with general accounts queries that come in to the company via phone and emails
  • Some general administration may also be asked as required by the Director

Skills / Experience :

  • Possess great computer skills including MS office and Xero
  • Previous bookkeeping / accounts administration experience
  • Be keen to offer support within all areas of accounts and communicate well with a wider team

Working Hours

16 hours per week

Flexible to working hours – to be discussed at time of application

Payrate

£14 - £15 per hour
