Job Opportunity: Maths Teacher

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted rated "good" secondary school in Liverpool. This exciting opportunity is open to experienced Teachers, Early Career Teachers, and Graduates who are passionate about shaping the minds of KS3 - KS5 pupils.

Position:
Maths Teacher (Temporary to Permanent)

Location:
Liverpool

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Math lessons to students ranging from KS3 to KS5.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and maintain an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum enhancements and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and stakeholders regarding student progress and achievement.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people between KS3 and KS5 is essential.
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  • Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to undergo the application process.
  • Provide two professional child-related references.
