Email Designer Marketing Specialist

We are hiring an Email Designer Marketer who can create design assets and execute email marketing campaigns to maximize revenue and retain existing company users.

Critical components of success in your new role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design on-brand digital marketing materials for email campaigns
  • Own the execution of end-to-end lifecycle marketing, creating strategic initiatives for each stage of the customer journey: onboarding, discovery, establishing a rhythm of product use and navigating sales & marketing campaigns.
  • Conceptualize ideas to nurture prospects and existing customers
  • Lead efforts to direct improvements in LTV, customer return rate, returning customer conversion rate and AOV for the company's own website.
  • Execute lifecycle marketing which nurtures re-engagement, upsell, retention, loyalty and referral primarily using email, SMS, web personalization and refer-a-friend tools.
  • Create email automation and content personalization strategies by leveraging user behavior/intent, activity data, research, and other industry-specific data.
  • Drive initiatives to convert customers into brand ambassadors
  • Define, drive and optimize key results for measuring progress against conversion and engagement.
  • Build hypothesis-based tests, identify opportunities and run A/B tests in segmentation, channel, and messaging to optimize and drive improvements to key results.
  • Maximize the value of first-party customer data via personalized website experiences and email flows.
  • Collaborate with the in-house content team to brainstorm and develop relevant creatives for companies own website, shop banners, in-app offers.
  • Engage in the generation of copywriting concepts for all digital platforms
  • Create recipe drafts for the blog with the aim of encouraging companies users to cook more frequently.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using Braze (or similar ESP) at a high-growth eCommerce company
  • Working knowledge of referral and loyalty marketing
  • Understanding GDPR and other relevant policies and how this impacts our customers.
  • You're focused on growth, with strong analytical skills for robust data-driven decision making, natural affinity for numbers, optimization, and the workings of complex systems, including experimentation methodologies and A/B testing.
  • A passion for and understanding of customer personas and consumer insights to craft relevant messaging, influencing creative teams, design and copywriting.
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach.
