Job Title: Delivery & Strategy Senior Manager Duration: December 2024 Location: 8 Canada Square, London Pay Rate: Umbrella: £770.59 – Inside IR35

Role Purpose:

Our client is a Delivery & Strategy Senior Manager who shall provide support on all pillars of strategy.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Leading / supporting on strategic projects within DAO Delivery and Strategy and for the wider DAO organisation, e.g. Value Stream adoption.
  • Supporting design and delivery of operating models and structures within the Group DAO organisation.
  • Managing the end-to-end process for Board and regulatory requirements required for GCDAO to govern Data & Analytics.
  • Governance Co-ordination and Delivery; overseeing prioritisation and delivery of all governance deliverables, to time and high quality, working with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulators
  • Managing and contribute to planning, communication, roles and responsibilities in the context of DAO and Data.
  • Understanding, leading, and adopting advanced "Ways of Working" to optimize efficiency of the DAO function.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Familiarity with financial services organisations and more specifically structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives
  • Ability to distil and synthesise complex and varied data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Evidence of promoting positive change in processes, procedures, products, services etc. to deliver financial, people or efficiency goals
  • Experience in implementing initiatives to increase professional excellence and capability across a breadth of roles within a matrixed organisation
  • Acute business acumen, judgement and expertise with an in-depth knowledge of organisational psychology and behaviour (desirable)
  • Experience within the professional discipline of Data and / or Business Architecture with an understanding of the value it provides to (desirable)
  • Experience in driving, communicating and providing talent management to senior managers in a global organisation
  • Experience in interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group
  • Ability to prioritise workload and respond to changing and varied demands. Recognise and act upon timely escalation of issues
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Experience of Project / Change management – confident in challenging business processes
