The Opportunity - Brand and Marketing Manager

The role of a Brand & Marketing Manager is crucial for driving our brand promotion and business growth. You will be responsible for driving marketing campaigns and producing innovative marketing collateral.

The role will focus on the management and development of the brand, digital, design, events, collateral for tenders, internal & external communications, PR releases and overall image of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in developing tendering proposals for significant business opportunities. Support sales meetings, sales reviews and support opportunities requiring marketing collateral to successfully execute proposals.
  • New acquisitions brand development and implementation to the company style.
  • Development of a marketing strategy, implementation and regular reviews; designed to support the wider strategy of attractive prospective clients.
  • Support the group with marketing collateral which supports the specific goals of the market sectors in coordination with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Plan and develop marketing campaigns in coordination with the marketing strategy, tying in with the SEO and digital marketing development.
  • Support the team in managing the ongoing development of the website and SEO, including management of external consultancies providing the SEO and website services.
  • Ensure the business is achieving value for money regarding utilisation of external consultancies and that the SEO and website campaigns are monitored for effectiveness and digital footprint growth.
  • Create and monitor methods to measure the success of campaigns and collateral.
  • Commission and manage the external Creative Marketing Partners, ensuring that the business is achieving good value for money and that external partners are providing innovative ideas regarding collateral and marketing strategy.
  • Continued analysis of competitor performance and position, reporting changes and analysis to the Leadership team.
  • Regular reporting on key metrics that assess effectiveness of the marketing strategy and delivery.
  • Advertising, planning and relationship building with the media.
  • Managing corporate events, exhibitions, PR releases, interviews, blogs and any other associated outreach.
  • Reviewing and improving internal company spaces to reflect the brand. Offices and factories as a pallet to convey the marketing message and promote the brand across the Group.
  • Organising and representing the company at exhibitions, seminars and networking events.
  • Manage client and market research projects.
  • Knowledge share and support in connection with internal initiatives to support wider staff engagement. (Staff Newsletters, Staff Presentations and events).
  • Providing monthly marketing updates for inclusion in the board pack.
  • Regular benchmarking of marketing collateral with external collateral, looking for new ideas and creative solutions.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Degree within a marketing discipline and/or other creative discipline.
  • Experience of working within a leading marketing role, ideally within fast-growing businesses within the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Deep understanding of effective digital marketing.
  • Experience of managing external digital and marketing consultancies.
  • Evidence of creating innovative marketing collateral.
  • Experience of regularly managing marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to produce to a deadline maintaining high standards.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with key departments, clients and other external stakeholders.
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence with ability to travel to all of the group sites when required.
