Our client is an IT company with a magazine publishing division, looking for a recent English Graduate or experienced content writer to join the business for a multi-faceted role which will help you develop your AI skills, create online content and junior edit one of their in-house technology magazines.
Our client is an established IT publishing house with four independent titles and an industry leading IT search engine, on a mission to enhance its online content and develop new marketplaces, whilst improving its reach and reputation, and building on already established relationships with Brands, Distributors and MSPs.
They work with over 1,200 leading technology brands from Microsoft, Zoom, HP, Lenovo through to the largest global Distributors and MSPs.
The Role
You will be joining a vibrant team of editorial, production and salespeople as well as working with software developers and business analysts to develop an internal AI Language Model to research and create content for specific IT product categories on their new Cloud Marketplace. Along with helping to train the AI model by researching and evaluating AI produced content, you will also be working alongside their traditional editorial team, creating feature articles, interviews, product reviews, covering events and helping to produce their monthly magazine titles, with the view to taking over the editorial role of their latest title.
You'll be focused on producing engaging content that speaks to their community, grows their readership and educates and informs their users. You must be an English and/or Journalism Graduates or individuals with a demonstrable catalogue of work in content generation for IT companies with a proven track record.
This role will report to their Publishing Director and require you to attend their London office at least 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be London based or have the ability to commute to London within a short distance.
Key Responsibilities
- Be part of the development team in creating an AI content research and content creator module which will be used to scope out product categories and generate content for each category for an online marketplace.
- Conduct research to profile and scope product categories, identify market trends, and monitor both new and existing markets.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, business analysts, AI developers and leverage their domain knowledge to produce authoritative, thought-provoking content.
- Contribute to the content calendar and ensure a steady flow of fresh, relevant content across all channels.
- Creation of authoritative, high-quality content across various formats (Feature Articles, Insights, Interviews, Product Reviews, Product Comparisons and more).
