HR Team Assistant

Our client is looking for an HR Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work within a busy HR team. You will assist with a variety of HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and a variety of general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and preparing offer letters.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation, undertaking pre-employment checks and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Help manage employee queries, assist in the preparation of HR documents, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Assist with various HR projects and initiatives, including intranet updates, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain and update the HR database and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed and support compliance requirements.

Skills and Knowledge

  • At least 2 years previous experience in an administrative role is required, preferably gained within a professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Package

  • 9.15am - 5.30pm Mon-Fri
  • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays and discretionary day at Christmas
