Business Development Executive
Rugby (Hybrid)
£27.5 - £30K (DOE) + Commission + Bonus
We have a unique role open for a new business development executive to work within a local engineering company in Rugby.
This is a role where you are trained to sell milling and turning capabilities to engineering customers around the UK (a big focus on automotive manufacturers).
This is a pure new business role, so we are looking for someone who is happy being self-sufficient, able to map out an area, hunt decision makers and ultimately arrange meaning meeting with prospective customers.
You will be using a mix of the phone, LinkedIn, seeking referrals, trade shows or other methods to establish your target market.
Whilst this can sound daunting, you will receive lots of support from a great ops manager who will arm you with the knowledge needed to be successful, let you bounce ideas off and ultimately set you up to succeed.
It's a great role for someone who already has a nice track record of B2B business development and someone who wants to break into the engineering sector.
What does this role offer me?

What skills are needed?
- Previous B2B cold sales experience.
- Outgoing, chatty person who can build relationships.
- Someone who is interested in engineering.
- The ability to listen, learn and understand the process.
- Full UK driving licence.
