Digital Data Project Manager/ Business Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity to work for our global pharmaceutical client based in London. They are recruiting a skilled and experienced Digital Asset Data Governance, Strategy, and Compliance Project Change Manager/Business Analyst on a temporary contract initially for 5 months with a possible extension and offers an hourly rate of £30 - £35 per hour depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours (Monday - Friday). Our client offers hybrid working.

This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including IT teams, marketing, Pharmacovigilance, medical, privacy, legal, and compliance experts to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with relevant regulations. The primary focus will be on implementing and maintaining effective data governance practices, developing and implementing data strategy on digital assets, and external/internal facing solutions to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy, internal processes & procedures and security regulations.

What You Will Do:

Responsibilities include, however not limited to:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures specifically tailored to digital assets (e.g., digital media files, website content, social media assets).
  • Lead and manage data governance initiatives for digital assets, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and drive the data strategy and roadmap for digital assets, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of data governance and strategy initiatives for digital assets.
  • Manage all aspects of data compliance related to digital assets, ensuring adherence to relevant data privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Work closely with IT, legal, Privacy, Pharmacovigilance and compliance teams to interpret and implement data regulations specific to digital asset management and ensure compliance across the organization.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets, to successfully deliver data governance and compliance projects for digital assets.
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders from IT, marketing, legal, and compliance domains.
  • Conduct risk assessments specific to digital asset data governance and compliance and develop mitigation strategies to address potential risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to teams responsible for managing digital assets, ensuring compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to digital asset data governance, strategy, and compliance.

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Proven minimum experience of 5 years as a Project Manager, preferably in digital asset data governance, strategy, or compliance projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, principles, and best practices relevant to digital assets.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements related to digital asset management.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management practices, including metadata management, version control, and rights management.
  • Experience in developing and executing data strategy and roadmaps for digital assets aligned with business goals.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies specific to digital asset management.
  • Certification in data governance or project management (e.g., CDMP, PMP) is a plus.

Minimum Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Technology, Compliance, Sciences, Data Engineering, Digital Media, or Business Administration.
  • A Master's degree is an advantage.
