Tradewind is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the Denton area of Tameside. This full-time position offers the chance to work with young learners and make a real difference in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Learning Activities: Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing learning activities, ensuring they are engaging and tailored to the needs of the children.
- Individual and Group Support: Provide one-on-one and small group support to children, helping them to reach their full potential.
- Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, supporting children's emotional and social development.
- Assessment: Assist in the observation and assessment of children's progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
- Resource Preparation: Prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials.
- Child Welfare: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working in an EYFS setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient and nurturing approach
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
