Join this central government regulator in their legal and compliance team and help handle the regulatory work in a varied sector. This organisation's team is split between London and Liverpool, allowing a candidate to go into either location.
Your new roleAs a Public and Regulatory Lawyer, you will be responsible for advising a number of stakeholders on high-risk compliance matters and ensuring appropriate conduct of professionals and organisations belonging to a rewarding sector. This role is set to begin as soon as possible (in the coming month) and last until March 31st 2025, with a high likelihood of it being extended or converted to permanent.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will possess all the below:

  • Qualified as a lawyer in England & Wales, Australia, or New Zealand
  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience with other regulators (governmental or other)
  • Experience with public and regulatory frameworks
  • Knowledge of charity law is highly desirable
