Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager for maternity cover contract ( might end up being a permanent role for the right candidate).

Salary: £31,000 pa

Location: Aylesford, Kent - job will involve some travel across the UK to undertake site visits

Hours: 37 hours per week

To effectively handle sales and key national account enquires from customers with the focus on highways and home builder signage.

Be primarily responsible for relationship management major client's defined customers/ prospective customers looking for business development opportunities

Working with a wide ranging mix of personnel to deliver on this activity.

Key Account Manager responsibilities**:**

  • To achieve revenue and business targets in line with monthly company budgets and forecast.
  • To build effective and long-lasting working relationships with new and existing clients.
  • To effectivelydevelop business leads with existing and potential client accounts to increase sales. This will require visiting customers either on site or monthly reviews to gain an understanding of projects in their pipeline
  • Ensure company's strategy to win the business is clearly articulated in a professional manner.
  • To proactively develop and project manage all contracts with regard to acknowledgement of enquiry response deadline. Produce quotations based on an agreed pricing structure. Follow up quotations and associated activities.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery process, from customer enquiry to installation/delivery.
  • Proactively anticipate customers' need and develop effective and efficient solutions.
  • Coordinate the design process for each location and order, ensuring that the signs are designed in line with customer brand guidelines
  • Produce programmes of work and coordinate the installation
  • Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of products
  • Ensure key management and financial information is produced on a timely basis to support the effective management of company, including, but not limited to weekly and monthly contract progress reports to management.
  • To comply with all Quality Assurance procedures and Company procedures as detailed in both the Company and departmental manuals.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety requirements and other Company Policies and Procedures.

Key Account Manager requirements:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within customer service / sales led environment
  • Proven Key Account Management experience
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's, grades A - C including Maths, English.
  • IT literate - working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Full driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Previous sales/design experience.
  • Experience / existing knowledge of road and commercial related signage
