Bennett and Game are seeking a Senior Geo-environmental Consultant for our client based in Manchester. Our client is continuing to grow and due to client demand they are looking to bring on an enthusiastic and talented Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their Swindon office and be part of our long-term sustainable growth.

**Senior Geo-environmental Consultant
Position Overview
- Review and sign off on Phase 1 desk studies, Phase 2 site investigations, and validation reports
- Conduct complex Phase 2 site investigations, including supervising contractors, and sampling and logging exploratory holes
- Write technical reports, including soil, gas, and groundwater risk assessments, and remediation strategies to a high specification
- Produce quotes and manage site investigations, including SI design, budgeting, and using our financial system
- Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies
- Develop business by building and retaining a client list and attending networking events
- Mentor and train junior staff
**Senior Geo-environmental Consultant
Position Requirements
- Degree in geology, geography, environmental science, geophysics, or geochemistry; an additional higher degree is advantageous
- 5-6 years of consultancy experience
- Commercial awareness of the industry
- High motivation for this specific opportunity
- Self-motivated team player with exceptional people skills
- Ability to work under own initiative while fully coordinating with line manager's requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
