This Short-term contract, Senior eCommerce Trading Manager will take ownership for the trading of the website and leading the eCommerce trading team. Here you will be accountable for online sales performance across all categories, trade plans and forecasting and daily maintenance of site content and merchandising.
The roles and responsibilities in this Senior eCommerce Trading Manager include-

Full P&L accountability across the website and the optimise trading.

Work with finance regarding establishing budgets, quarterly and weekly forecasting and reporting.

Build and manage the online trading calendar, aligning with Merchandising and Digital Marketing around new launches, promotional activity, Sales, calendar events etc.

Monitor & propose trading actions to further optimise gross revenue and EBITDA delivery.

Build and manage website activity based on the Business Calendar, aligning with Merchandising and Digital Marketing around new launches, promotional activity, Sales, calendar events

Monitor and respond to in-week evolving trade conditions and competitor activity - continually developing, quantifying and proposing trading actions to further optimise revenue and conversion

Ensure new collections are launched on time, managing a team covering content management, site merchandising and trading

Manage regular site walks to maintain site quality and continually optimise site performance.

Monitor site engagement, CVR and sell through, adjusting site content as required.

Collaborate with the wider ecommerce development team to identify and prioritise site functionality development and UX opportunities within BAU development workflow.
To be successful in this Senior eCommerce Trading Manager position -
- Some one who is immediately available - this is a short-term contract of 3 months +
- Looking for someone with 5 years + eCommerce/Online or Digital Trading experience
- Ideally you would have retail or eCommerce experience within fashion, footwear, accessories, beauty or mixed product
- Proven experience of delivering revenue growth in a digital trading role for a fashion-focused DTC ecommerce business
- Data-driven, with a passion for diving into insights to improve customer engagement
- Deep knowledge of site merchandising levers and how they can be used to impact ecommerce KPIs and revenue
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and evidence of successful outcomes from collaborative projects .
