You'll busy in this varied role!...

  • Overseeing organic social media strategies and initiatives.
  • Optimising the website following SEO best practices.
  • Designing content plans and collaborating with content writers to meet deadlines.
  • Analysing performance using web analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics) and ensure effective reporting is in place.
  • Writing proposals, testing roadmaps, and campaign reviews for presentation to senior managers.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure key launches and promotions are supported.
  • Building partnerships/relationships with online media (journalists, bloggers, etc.) for additional online visibility.
  • Staying updated with the latest digital marketing trends/technologies.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing team members in their knowledge, skills, and execution of digital marketing.
  • Managing both external agencies and internal teams effectively to ensure cohesive execution of digital strategies.

The ideal candidate will have proven, broad experience across key digital disciplines and platforms, including SEO/PPC, social media (both paid and organic), paid media, analytics, and insight.

You'll have worked in a similar role with an emphasis on running large and complex campaigns. Proven experience working with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, with hands-on experience in managing paid social campaigns. Additionally, experience in organic social media strategies and in-depth knowledge of marketing technology, keyword research tools, programmatic platforms & social advertising technology is required. You'll be commercially-astute, with demonstrable experience in measuring and improving the ROI of marketing investments. You'll also possess solid analytical skills: able to analyse raw data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations as needed.

What We Can Offer

Newmarket Holidays is an award-winning holiday company with a team that loves travel. We share our travelling experiences with our colleagues and encourage everyone to go on our holidays. For years we worked in a 1930s building with lots of little offices, but now we've moved to a modern office in the London suburbs, next door to a mainline railway station, and the walls have gone, and the sofas have arrived. We're really proud of the working environment we have created, and the strong focus on collaborative working and cross-team projects that it encourages. That said, we know the world has moved on and as such, we subscribe to hybrid working with the majority of our team working from our Wallington office twice a week at least. Wednesdays are a 'core day' and when we typically arrange 'all company' social events.

Benefits include discounted holidays, holiday exchange scheme where you can buy extra, or sell, annual leave days, paid charity/volunteering days, health and well-being related perks like discounted gym membership, eyecare, and cycle to work schemes, alongside 33 days' holiday and workplace pension scheme.
