Talentedge are actively recruiting for a Client Accountant for a leading marketing services agency in the West End, Central London paying £40-45k for a 12mth contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Hold regular revenue meetings, review time vs revenue, add commentary on revenue movements and variances
- Monthly Recoverability review meetings, take minutes and send to client services teams with agreed actions. Follow up for resolution.
- Weekly Time reports review. Time movements between jobs.
- Revenue posting, reconciliation of revenue trackers with actuals, preparation of accrued/deferred revenue schedules
- Check back up is saved on the jobs and correct for recognition
- Manage accrued revenue below set level for the division and aged items not older than 30 days
- Oversee, assist and approve billings
- Monthly Commercial reporting for the division
- Timesheets completion review
- Support FC /FD with Resource Forecasting
- Ad hoc commercial reporting ( bi-weekly , monthly )
- WIP management and analysis to ensure that all third party costs are billed on a timely basis, costs from the suppliers are on the correct jobs and that WIP jobs are reconciled and cleared down
- Monitor and reconcile estimated vs actual 3rd party costs per project, flagging overspends as soon as they occur
- Hold regular WIP meetings with client services teams. Take minutes and send to client services teams for confirmation together with the actions. Follow ups
- Send weekly WIP reports
- Check price quotes are correct and backup (client approvals & PO's) for jobs is saved
- Review open PO's and advise client services teams to close where appropriate
- Allocation of pass through 3rd party costs
- Maintain client jobs on - open new jobs and close completed and reconciled jobs in a timely manner
- Manage debit WIP that it is not older than 30 days
- Review payment runs with commentary for FC approval
- APaging ledger review with Shared Services
- Raise invoices for intercompany recharges
- Maintain costs trackers
- Weekly freelance tracker updates
- Reporting templates update with actuals
- Forecast template update for submission to the Group
- Month end pack update for submission to the Group
Candidates requirements:
- Studying towards professional qualification ( ACCA, CIMA, ACA, etc)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Marketing Services Agency experience
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Pro-active and solutions focused attitude
- Ambitious and looking to learn and progress
- Min 2 years industry experience
