Salary: £28,000.00- £34,000.00pa+ up to £3K bonus

The Wedding Coordinator will be reporting to the Sales Office Manager, and will work 5 days per week. The shifts are Monday - Friday and Tuesday to Saturday:

  • 08.00 - 16.30
  • 09.00 - 17.30
  • 10.00 - 18.30

As the Wedding Coordinator you will:

  • Handling incoming wedding enquiries from the initial enquiry to post event follow up.
  • Exceeding customers' expectations and being motivated to continually develop service levels.
  • Face to face client meetings, walk rounds
  • Drive sale by effectively upselling a range of different services and add-ons.
  • Maintain high-level of professionalism and competence when dealing with clients.
  • Obtain client feedback and make appropriate changes for improvements.
  • Manage meeting request leads, contracts and confirmations to clients.
  • Using a keen eye for detail to ensure all event details are translated to the system and handed over to the Operations Team.

The idea Wedding Coordinator will:

  • Proven experience in wedding planning or co-ordination.
  • Excellent customer service skills with proven ability to convert warm sales opportunities.
  • Have a positive 'can do' attitude, good listening skills and be passionate about wedding planning.
  • Keen to learn and work in a dynamic team and be cross trained in conference events.
  • Communicate with all internal stakeholders and effectively manage and co-ordinate all elements of pre-wedding administration including building quotes and budgets etc.
  • Experience of Opera advantageous. Strong MS Office skills and good written skills essential.
  • Pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service.
  • Candidates must have a high standard of presentation and will be well spoken.
