We are currently seeking a Contract Manager (Lease & Agreements) to join our Asset Strategy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bpha's business to business leases and agreements as well as contract management for some outsourced services. In addition, you will be monitoring the performance of our managing agents and proactively resolving issues when they arise.
What you will be doing:
- Building relationships with our partners and reviewing our commercial leases to ensure the terms are being adhered to by both parties.
- Negotiating new leases or lease renewals with partners.
- Carrying out rent reviews for our leases.
- Taking legal advice on any breaches of lease and working with partners to resolve issues.
- Contract management of our outsourced services including a loan repayment product.
- Reviewing enquiries to purchase our properties or land and producing business cases with recommendations.
We'd love to meet someone who has:
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship and negotiation skills.
- Experience of working in any or all the following industries Social Housing/Commercial Lease Management/Contract Management
- Experience of writing business reports and using excel
- Excellent customer care and show an understanding and commitment to equality and diversity.
- Ability to work flexibly, without guidance but also be committed to work in a positive manner with both internal and external stakeholders
