Home based with weekly travel to our sites around Newcastle - under - Lyme

£38,500

Full time (37 hours) - Permanent

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety individual to provide effective and positive health and safety advice and support and be part of a team that delivers first class Health and Safety management and support services across our business.

As a core member of the Health and Safety team, you will assist the Health and Safety Manager with the delivery of safety, compliance and quality assurance oversight in line with Regulatory standards and the Groups policies and strategic direction. We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate a good understanding of construction, maintenance and social housing sector. As an ambassador for all health and safety regulation, you'll be accustomed to assisting with any accident investigations, as well as keeping accurate, and up to date detailed records.

You'll be creative in your approach and be passionate about ensuring all staff adhere to the relevant Health & Safety requirement. Organised and meticulous, you will be responsible for monitoring incidents and accidents, as well as identifying and improving health and safety practises within the organisation. We're looking for an individual who can think outside the box and can demonstrate a good understanding the use of Health & Safety equipment and techniques.

We're looking for a confident communicator who can discuss issues with all levels of staff across the organisation, with the ability to listen and take onboard any concerns relating to health and safety matters.
