Facilities Assistant

Claremont Fan Court School is an independent day school for pupils aged from?2½ to 18 years. The school is set in 99 acres of historic landscaped grounds of the Claremont Estate in Esher, Surrey.

We are growing our team and areseeking to appoint 3 facilitiesassistants to work as part of the in-house team responsible for the safe upkeep and running of the school's facilities.

Working throughout the year, Monday to Saturday on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, 10.30am - 7.00pm. Key responsibilities of the role include portering, parking management, event logistics and site security. There will also be general repairs and maintenance across the site.

The successful applicant will be a strong team member and equally capable of working on their own. A good standard of DIY skills to undertake general maintenance and repairs is desirable although training will be provided. Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential. A strong customer service ethic is key.
