Do you have strong Casting knowledge and purchasing experience and are looking to join a close-knit team? Do you have SAP experience?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you! You will be working for an established company with clear lines of progression.

What will you be doing?

  • Identify, select and manage an international supply chain within the Castings commodity group.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and audits in order to establish and maintain a robust and reliable supply chain.
  • Create and maintain quote files for all standard items and negotiate price reductions, extended payment terms and discounts
  • Maintain supplier files in line with Purchasing Department requirements.
  • Daily MRP (SAP) demands.
  • Establish replenishment methodology, inventory management, and logistics that support continuous improvement in On Time Delivery performance and reduction in defect rates.
  • Action NCRs in line with company procedures.
  • For Project based materials, prepare and issue RFQ's, place or amend purchase orders.
  • Analyse and negotiate proposed supplier price increases / quotations in line with agreed procedures.
  • Review and assess MRP demands on a daily basis.
  • Manage a standalone Castings tracker and issue SSR's (Supplier Self Reports) to all vendors (weekly) and ensure vendors return them by the stated deadlines.
  • Maintain the Pattern Register
  • Maintain a vendor database / matrix.
  • Present a professional image, support and promote brand values at all times, ensure compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Carry out all work practices in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy.
