Right Now Group have partnered up with our client who are a large Freight Forwarder that are looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join their team. This will be to work within the Luxury Retail Handling Unit.

Job Responsibilities of a Customer Service Specialist:

  • Monitor and maintain mail communications, organising the inbox is organised and structured
  • Manage open channels of communication between several operational teams to ensure all customer service, Administration and communication runs smoothly and is maintained accurately
  • When requested, preparation and distribution of dispatch reports and delivery notes
  • Assist with any escalation or stock investigation including completion and submitting claims forms
  • Ensure all paperwork and documentation is copied, distributed and filed
  • Monitor dashboard for advanced shipping notice
  • Update Inbound schedule reports
  • Upload photos of any damages/ discrepancies into in house quality systems
  • Continue to seek process improvements including measurements of productivity or improved services
  • Help ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Demonstrate safe working practices and deliver WMS Manhattan training to other team members upon adhoc requests or via planned system training workshops
  • Support with customer communications and management of consumer returns
  • Data integrity checks between customer and supplier
  • The successful Customer Service Requires:
  • Excellent organisational, communication and management skills
  • Experience with the Luxury Retail Industry within a warehouse or supply chain environment
  • Ability to follow processes but identify and flag discrepancies
  • Enhanced operational knowledge of computer applications including Ms Office and Manhattan WMS systems
  • Excellent Attention to detail
  • Ability to use own initiative and resolve day to day challenges
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise own workload and delegate tasks
  • A friendly, calm and professional manner reflecting the high service levels of the company

More Details:

Hours of work: Monday- Friday 08:00- 17:00

Salary: Up to £37,000
