Pay Rate: £21.37 PAYE / £27.14 Umbrella

About the Role
My client, an established Housing Association looking for a passionate and proactive Resident Involvement Officer to join their small, dynamic team of three. Reporting to the Resident Involvement & Scrutiny Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering our Resident Involvement Strategy across the region. You'll empower residents to engage with our services, support resident-led scrutiny, and help shape the future of housing services at Clarion.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and deliver the Resident Involvement Strategy at a regional level.
- Coordinate and facilitate a range of resident involvement activities, including scrutiny panels and engagement events.
- Act as the main point of contact for local involvement opportunities, training, funding, and events.
- Maintain accurate records of involved residents and produce regular reports aligned with KPIs.
- Champion digital engagement tools and techniques to broaden resident participation.
- Manage funding allocations to local groups, ensuring compliance with monitoring and auditing requirements.
- Support regional compliance with the regulatory framework through evidence gathering and verification.
- Organise and deliver resident engagement days, partnership events, and conferences
- Lead on the setup and support of Service Improvement Groups (SIGs) and Task & Finish (T&F) Groups.
- Provide data and research to support the Resident Scrutiny Committee's annual review.
Requirements:
Essential
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and support residents of all confidence levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present performance data clearly.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and across departments.
- Organised and self-motivated with strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours and travel across the region as needed.
- Experience in Resident Involvement, Community Development, or Housing.
Desirable:
- Project management experience.
- Experience delivering training to internal teams or customers.
- Familiarity with residential support groups and stakeholder management.
- Previous use of Smart Serve.
- Car driver (preferred).
