J ob Opportunity: Temporary H ealth & Safety Manager (Highway Project)
Location: Argyll and Bute
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks (Starting 21st September)
Company: Leading Ground Investigation Contractor
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee safety on a major highway ground investigation project just north of Glasgow. The role is temporary, lasting 16 weeks, and involves managing health and safety protocols on a site with 4-8 rotary rigs and a workforce of approximately 40-50 technicians and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage health and safety procedures on-site.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Provide guidance and support to site personnel on HSE matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH qualification is essential.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the construction or ground investigation sectors.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure.
