Role Overview:

As a Property Manager and Lettings Administrator, you will play a key role in overseeing properties and ensuring a seamless lettings process. You'll be the go-to person for both landlords and tenants, providing top-notch customer service while maintaining the highest standards of property management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the property portfolio, including inspections, maintenance, and tenant relations.
  • Coordinate the lettings process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
  • Schedule and conduct property viewings, follow-ups, and negotiations to secure tenancies.
  • Prepare tenancy agreements and conduct referencing for prospective tenants.
  • Liaise with contractors and service providers to manage repairs and maintenance effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases for all properties, tenants, and landlords.
  • Handle tenant communications, including lease renewals, notices, and move-in/move-out processes.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Assist in rent collection and manage arrears, working closely with landlords to resolve any issues.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property management or lettings administration is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the lettings process and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
